Biography
Born and raised in the small town of Pasadena, Newfoundland I learned the importance of building lasting relationships based on trust at a young age. Throughout my youth I was competitively involved in sports at the local, provincial and national levels. Those opportunities exposed me to the value of teamwork, communication, respect, and discipline; life skills that I still draw on daily in my business and personal life.
I first moved to Halifax in 1995 to attend Dalhousie University, where I played varsity volleyball for the Tigers in 1995-96 and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology in 1999. After going back to school in 2000, I completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Applied Information Technology and spent almost two years working for a large family owned insurance brokerage in the Greater Toronto Area. In 2002, I settled back in Halifax for good.
I purchased my first home in 2003 and that process triggered my interest in real estate as a career choice. Since obtaining my real estate license in 2003 I have been fortunate to help more than a hundred families, from various provinces and countries, establish or re-establish roots here in this beautiful city of ours.
